Great pastries

I WENT TO THIS PLACE FOR BREAKFAST, I HAD TO WAIT FOR THE PERSON THAT HAD THAT TABLE TO GET HELP,THE FOOD AND THE BREAD GREAT ! BUT THE COFFEE NOT AT THE LEVEL OF THE PLACE....AFTER I PUT THE CREAM BECAME COLD BUT NONE SHOWED UP TO REFRESHED OR ASK IF EVERYTHING WAS OK I DRINK A COLD COFFEE ...THE BILL WAS PRICY,AFTER THAT I WENT TO STURBUCKS BY VONS AND GOT A NICE HOT CUP OF COFFEE....

Service was great,food was great. Will go back again. Everyone in masks. Social distancing and sat outside on lovely patio. Will go back again

Pandemic days! The food is so yummy! Owner/Manager very friendly. We had to social distance and they were vigilant about that, and cleaning everything. Look forward to visiting again.

The best of a French bakery in the California desert. Phenomenal authentic baked goods. No corners cut here. Every time I go there brings back idyllic mornings in Paris walking to the corner boularangie to score a perfect croissant or a baguette.

Food and service is solid. Atmosphere needs some sprucing.great place for a quick bite.

The almond croissant is amazing!! So amazing in fact that we came 2 days in a row just for that. Omelette was ok but very expensive and in my opinion not worth the price. Prices seem pretty steep. 2 cups of coffee, 2 omelettes and a croissant was $51. Overall pretty good though and i'd definetly come back for that croissant!

A french bakery / deli. It was nice and clean (and busy) when we visited. They had 4 varieties of quiche and it was all quite good. They have a good reputation in La Quinta for lunch, but our breakfast was very nice. In true European style the privee is in the back of the kitchen.

I've always loved this place but they've added a lot of tables and I guess they don't have enough staff or kitchen help. We ordered and waited 48 minutes for our meal. We got a nice little apology from the waitress but that was it. My dad's French toast was called strawberry French toast and it had the equivalent of one small strawberry cut up on top of it. We ask for more strawberries and they did give them to us. My eggs benedict was okay, their frittata was fabulous. But not worth waiting close to an hour to get your food and had to ask 4 times for water. Very disappointing.....

Almond croissants are the best anywhere. Great location and ambiance. Pure bliss.

Way too expensive. Just eating a pancake breakfast for 4 cost us $88 + tips.

Love it here! The french onion soup is delicious! Everything is so fresh and service is always amazing. And oh my goodness the peanut butter torte is to die for! Don't miss this place!!

L O V E this bistro..Highest BBC quality fresh baked goods Pecan roll is my favorite. Staff is consistently welcoming and helpful 10 stars if possible.

Finishing up a delicious breakfast. Edith was our server and she was wonderful, so attentive and sweet. We enjoyed sitting outside by the fountain. Thanks for a civilized experience .

Everything my wife and I ordered was excellent. The Avocado Chicken salad. The Turkey, cheese tomato panini. Almond croissant cinnamon raisin croissant and coffee. Baguette excellent. We'll make sure this place is always on our list when we visit, Palm Desert

Love it. Best pecan rolls and cinnamon rolls you'll find. Food is really good. Americanos are spot on. One of our favorites!

Food was good but service was ok. We left a good tip and we watched as the girl waitress did not share it with the other staff, that was disappointing to see! The place is nice but you can hear the owner yelling at the staff in kitchen and totally degrading them! I really hope they get paid good to put up with that abuse.!!!!

Wonderful bakery & cafe. So many dishes that I was curious about, I'll have to go back at least 5 times. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable! We had the beignets, croque madame, and grilled chicken sandwich. Can't wait to go back!

Looked like new staff. Had to ask twice for cream for coffee. Food always above average. Looked like you raised your prices for winter or BNP.

Just ok sums it up here. Food is over priced for what it is but it is good. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but I just wasnt blown away like some people are. It's a cute little bakery/restaurant so you should at least check it out once for coffee and a pastry. I'd probably go elsewhere for brunch though.

My husband dropped by for a late lunch - we were seated on the patio - and everything was spotlessly clean. Lunch was superb. Look forward to going next week with my girlfriend.

The staff is super friendly. The food was ok. We where told at the moment we ordered our food that the kitchen was running a little behind. From the moment we ordered until the food arrived to our table a good 35 minutes had passed. The water container we received on our table was dirty and had stains all around. It is definitely a buzzy place for breakfast...

This bakery smells of deliciousness from the moment you walk in the door, and it does NOT disappoint! Bakery sweets, quiche, sandwiches, etc....you can not go wrong here folks!!!

The croque madam. What more do you need... I love La Quinta Baking Co, I have been there quote a few times now since discovering it a few months ago. A real gem!

Food was average; service was slow.

This was our first visit. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. Felt very comfortable with their COVID-19 safety measures. Love supporting businesses that are making every effort to keep customers and staff safe during this time. We are a family of six and they were very accommodating.

The wife and I stopped here this am. She had eggs benedict.....very good. I had an omelette with mushrooms, onions and sausage....wasnt impressed, it was flat and dry and appeared to be the yield of 2 large eggs (kind of small for the price). The potatoes were very nicely done and everything had flavor. We spoke to the owner and she impressed me. Very attentive and personable. I told her every cook has an off dish and that we will be back. A dry omelet is better than one that isnt cooked enough, right? I think so. Besides the service and attention to detail, the cleanliness were all superb!!!! If the omellette had been light and fluffy I would have given 5 stars. Their fresh baked sourdough bread was better than any in the valley and their flourless chocolate peanutbutter cake was.....OMG are you kidding me kind of amazing! I love the variety of options on their menu and how really friendly they are. I cant wait to go back.

Love love love this place. I ordered the ham & cheese croissant, almond croissant which was a desert fit for 3. I have been to France many times, these croissants are better than anything I have had in Paris. It is my new favorite place. If you haven't been, it's a must.
